Infineon 8-bit Microcontroller Starter And Application Kits The Infineon 8-bit starter kits are complete evaluation tool sets for the popular C500 microcontroller family. Each kit includes an evaluation version of the Keil C51 compiler and a development board fitted with the HiTOP51/WIN monitor debugger for full HLL symbolic debugging. The kit also includes a power supply, serial cable and all data sheets, everything you need to get to grips with this cost-effective microcontroller family.
	The Eurocard format development board has 64k RAM memory and 128k FLASH memory. Ths built in FLASH bootloader means your final code may be downloaded from the PC serial port and programmed into the flash memory. All the port pins and peripherals of the microcontroller are accessible via a header strip next to the prototyping area. The development boards also include the unique ICEconnect socket for direct access by in-circuit emulators. The C500 controllers have an enhanced 8051 CPU that is fully compatible with existing 8051 code and include peripherals such as AD converters, PWM modules, CAPTURE/COMPARE units and CAN controllers, all in very low profile MQFP packages.
